Welcome to our organization!
We are a group of dedicated individuals committed to promoting sustainability, social justice, and well-being in our community. Through a variety of programs and initiatives, we work to empower individuals, create positive change, and foster a sense of connection and belonging.
IEP is a diverse, Indigenous-led organization that consists of water protectors and land defenders from various communities and regions across so-called Minnesota.
What We Offer
Education
Offer educational courses on Indigenous plant medicine and fossil fuel divestment. These courses could be offered in-person or online, and could include lectures, workshops, and field trips.
Spiritual Connection
Offer spiritual retreats and ceremonies led by Indigenous Elders and knowledge keepers. These retreats could be held at various locations across Turtle Island, or even virtually.
Food Sovereignty
Offer resources to support local food sovereignty initiatives such as seed libraries, community gardens, farmers markets, and food banks.
Community Involvement
Offer opportunities for community involvement through volunteer programs, internships, and other forms of engagement with the organization’s mission.

Our team is guided by the belief that the rights and knowledge systems of Indigenous Peoples are essential in finding solutions to the climate crisis and achieving climate justice.
